Despite the cold and the snow, February brings the warmth and excitement of Mardi Gras! Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday, marks the last day of revelry and debauchery before the start of Christian Lent. This year Mardi Gras falls on February 25th. 10th Annual Mardi Gras Denver – Saturday, February 22st
Bourbon Street comes to Denver! The Exdo Event Center will be turned into Bourbon Street where you can drink hurricanes, listen to guest DJs, catch beads, get your face painted, and watch burlesque shows. This is one of the biggest Mardi Gras events in Denver, and the 10th year is sure to please any reveler. General Admission tickets are $40, and table reservations are available. Stoney’s 10th Annual Mardi Gras Boil – Saturday, February 22nd
Stoney’s Bar and Grill is hosing their 10th annual Mardi Gras Crawfish Boil! They have ordered 750 lbs of crawfish straight from Louisiana that you can pre-purchase for 2 lbs for $25 or 5 lbs for $55. They will have live music playing! Get your tickets here
Mile High Mardi Gras w/ Gumbo Le Funque – Friday, February 21st
Ophelia’s will be hosting Gumbo le Funque five-piece jazz, funk, soul band from Denver. Their fun, unique funk sound has been gaining acclaim across Denver, Colorado, and the region since they formed in 2011. Get tickets for as low as $10 here
Fat Tuesday All You Can Eat Crawfish Boil – Tuesday, February 25th
School House Kitchen and Libations in Olde Town Arvada is hosting an all you can eat crawfish boil on Mardi Gras Day. Mile High Brass Band will be stopping by as well! Tickets are $25 and are going fast!
